Lee Johnson in 'not happy' verdict as Hibernian snatch draw with Rangers

Hibernian's Josh Campbell celebrates scoring his sides second goal to level the score at 2-2 during the cinch Premiership match at Easter Road

LEE JOHNSON wasn't satisfied with a share of the spoils as Hibernian snatched a draw against nine-man Rangers at Easter Road.

The hosts had to twice come from behind as Martin Boyle and Josh Campbell cancelled out a James Tavernier penalty and second half header from Tom Lawrence.

But it was the two red cards shown to John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos that gave Hibs the impetus to earn a point against the Light Blues.

And boss Johnson was frustrated that his side had to wait until after the break to show any attacking threat on an afternoon that will go down as as missed opportunity.

Johnson said: "We had a biblical, blooming team talk at half-time to get us going.

"The boys delivered in the second half and that was what created the incidents, the equaliser, good pressure, good counter-attack.

"Lundstram's sending off which is probably a yellow, probably a tactical foul in my eyes but I didn't think it was a penalty for Rangers and Bushiri should have a penalty in the first half for us.

"There were a lot of incidents but we created that by our pressure in the second half.

"It's a fantastic finish from a player that I believe is growing in stature and is a trustworthy player for us.

"I am not happy, we need to do more. I am not going to sugar-coat where we are, we've got spirit and fitness but I want to deliver to these fans high-tempo, front foot football.

"In the first half we didn't and in the second half we did. What we need is a complete performance what I don't think we have seen enough of yet.

"We have picked up a point against one of the Old Firm teams by being aggressive, if that's not proof we need to press aggressively I don't know what is."
