Under-fire Hibs boss Lee Johnson blanked his derby flops after their 3-0 Tynecastle humbling, according to a report.
The toiling Easter Road gaffer was raging with his players following the meek surrender in Gorgie which has left the Englishman with just one win from his last seven games ahead of Sunday’s trip to Motherwell.
And the Scottish Sun say the ex-Sunderland gaffer refused to enter the away dressing room as the seething boss snubbed his squad, opting to give them the silent treatment and leaving the post mortem to his assistant Jamie McAllister. Visibly emotional, Johnson said after the defeat to his ex-Jambos team-mate Robbie Neilson’s side the Englishman admitted he would rather move on 10 fringe players from his bloated squad and replace them with one quality addition in January. He spoke of being “sick of the mediocrity” and even aimed a blast at the board over their handling of the Ryan Porteous contract situation as the defender prepares to leave on a free after his deal was allowed to run down.
Record Sport exclusively revealed how Demetri Mitchell could lead a January exodus but it remains to be seen how his players will react to his post match tactic.
A photo of Johnson out in town also circulated on social media on the eve of the derby but the same report states that he had taken his gran out for dinner in the capital but that “footage has still brought questions within the dressing room”.
