A Nottinghamshire MP tried to make a guest eat cat food whilst on his new tv show for GB News. Lee Anderson is hosting a weekly programme for the broadcaster, despite previously complaining about MPs having second jobs.
In a new episode, the Conservative deputy chairman attempted to convince Michelle Dewberry to tuck into the pet food, which she declined. This comes after Mr Anderson's first episode last week, which saw him feed cold baked beans to fellow Tory MP Brendan Clarke-Smith reports The Daily Mirror.
While interviewing Ms Dewberry in the second episode, the MP took a fork out of his jacket pocket and offered her cat food to eat. However, the presenter who dressed up as a cat on her show last month as she discussed pupils self-identifying as the animals told him firmly: “You can b****r off.”

He continued: "We have got a tin of cat food here,” he continued, but she rejected it saying: “I’m not eating bloody cat food, are you mental?
“No I don’t want to, I don’t want to.” A persistent Mr Anderson then suggested: “If I have a forkful, will you have one as well?”
But Ms Dewberry said: “I don’t want to, no.” The bizarre segment comes after Mr Anderson last week was reprimanded for recording a plug for his show on top of one of the buildings on the parliamentary estate.
He used a location which overlooked Whitehall and Parliament Square for the clip, in which he pleaded for viewers to get in contact with questions for him. He said: "Have you got a problem and got nobody to turn to?
"Well look no further. Agony Anderson will solve all your problems. Contact me if you’ve got any problems, whether they are social or personal.”
Mr Anderson faces a telling off from the Serjeant at Arms, who is in charge of the Parliamentary Estate. A House of Commons spokesman said: "Unauthorised photography or filming is not permitted on the Parliamentary Estate.
"Where breaches are observed or reported, the Serjeant at Arms will discuss with or write to the Member involved to confirm the rules." Mr Anderson, who already earns £86,584 as an MP, has started moonlighting as a TV presenter even though he used to speak against those who split their time between the Commons and other work.
“I don’t have a second job, I love the job I have already,” he previously posted on Facebook. Mr Anderson also publicly denounced ex-Cabinet minister Owen Paterson as he faced a row over outside work.
He posted: "We are paid handsomely for the job we do and if you need an extra £100,000 a year on top then you should really be looking for another job." In February, Rishi Sunak appointed Mr Anderson as deputy chairman of the Conservative Party despite his history of saying controversial things.
He has repeatedly spoken about struggling people relying on foodbanks, and earned the nickname '30p Lee' for his claims about the cost of meals. The Ashfield MP also sparked fury in January by claiming foodbank users squander their cash on cigarettes, alcohol, expensive TV subscriptions and holidays.
