Last Wednesday in a contest against the Los Angeles Clippers, LeBron James sustained a strained left adductor, which frightened fans of the Los Angeles Lakers.
They instantly had flashbacks to Christmas Day in 2018, when he suffered a groin injury that kept him out for five weeks and destroyed what had looked like a promising season to that point.
James missed the Lakers’ last two games because of his strained adductor. They lost last Friday to the Sacramento Kings, but they then defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday to stop a five-game losing streak.
James will also miss Friday night’s contest versus the Detroit Pistons, which isn’t a big surprise.
LeBron James is out tonight against the Pistons, per the Lakers.
Anthony Davis is playing.
