LeBron James was seen wearing a custom pair of Liverpool Nike basketball trainers as he made history on Tuesday night playing against the New York Knicks as the LA Lakers won by six points.
James, who first purchased a small stake in Liverpool in 2011, netted a 20-point triple-double to become the oldest player in the NBA to do so at 38-years-old and he did it donning the special footwear.
It is not the first time the NBA icon has been seen sporting Liverpool merchandise as he is set to release a special collaboration shirt with the Reds in the first part of the year.

The limelight was stolen at Madison Square Garden by James because of his striking red footwear - which are rumoured to be released later on in the year.
James was recently seen arriving at a Lakers game kitted out in what is thought to be the special edition collaborative Liverpool top along with some Nike Air Max.
The shirt featured James' logo in the middle and was black with red pin stripes. It also had the letters YNWA (You'll Never Walk Alone) printed on the side as fans eagerly await details of its release.
