Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James likes to think of himself as more than an athlete.
After all, he is also a husband, father, social activist, actor and entrepreneur.
In fact, it is his business activity and acumen that arguably impresses his legion of fans at least as much as his exploits on the basketball court.
James’ all-around talents and efforts have led to him reportedly being the highest-paid athlete in the world over the past year.
Via Lakers Daily:
“Besides his excellent abilities on the court, he has a strong knack for making lots of money off the court.
“In the past year, James reportedly made the most money among all athletes in the world, beating out stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the process.”

The four-time NBA champ certainly loves to think of himself as a one-man conglomerate, which has earned him tons of praise, but it has also made him a target for his haters who claim he came to the Lakers to prioritize business and other money-making activities over basketball.
But James likely laughs at his critics all the way to the bank, as he is reportedly closing in on a net worth of $1 billion.
Via The Success Bug:
“As of May 2022, the net worth of LeBron James is $850 million. He has a lifetime deal with Nike worth a whopping $1 billion. Every year, LeBron James earns around $40 million in salary from the NBA and roughly $55 million from endorsements. This alone totals his salary at around $100 million.”
Whatever he chooses to do after he hangs up his Nikes for good, James can make an immense impact on the nation, one way or another.
