After going through a couple of rough years that included injuries, little support and plenty of losing, the situation is looking up for LeBron James.
His Los Angeles Lakers have won 15 of their last 22 games and six of their last seven, and he returned in late March after being out for a month with a right foot tendon injury.
Buy Lakers TicketsAlthough he hasn’t played his best since returning, his best hasn’t been needed, especially when the Lakers rolled the Houston Rockets, 134-109, on Sunday.
In that game, he was quiet offensively (by his standards), but he had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, giving him his second triple-double of the season.
It also allowed him to tie Hall of Fame point guard Jason Kidd for the fourth-most career triple-doubles in NBA history with 107.

James has reached several statistical milestones since the start of last season, yet his critics have alleged that they were meaningless since the Lakers were a mediocre team.
But now that they’re becoming a very good squad and possibly a contender down the road, James’ individual exploits will likely start to seem more significant very soon.
