Los Angeles Lakers forward Austin Reaves had some strong words for Dallas Mavericks guard Josh Green in a frantic moment during a wild Sunday night game.
The Lakers mounted the biggest comeback of the season to date after being down 27 points to win the game against the Dallas Mavericks, beating Kyrie Irving's team - a player who had they hoped to trade for just weeks ago.
Irving and Doncic played an impressive first half giving the Mavs a lead, one that looked to be unassailable, but LeBron James, Anthony Davis and newly-acquired Jarred Vanderbilt all put in incredible performances to complete a comeback in the second half.
The Lakers may well have been fuelled by one of their role players showing a high level of intensity at one point in the game when Reaves did not hold back on having words for the Mavericks defensive stopper in Green.
In one moment in particular, Australian star Green made a solid play on Reaves as he forced a turnover before intensely talking in the Lakers' forwards face after the play with the Mavericks up on the scoreboard.
The camera panned straight to Reaves during the incident as he looked to have said: "I'll f*** you up, you ain't s***," as James came over to ensure the issue did not escalate. Both players were issued technical fouls as it would be Reaves who had the last laugh when his teammate Davis hit the game-winner.
Earlier in the game though, the Lakers suffered a huge injury scare when James went down holding his knee and was picked up as saying "I heard it pop", with thousands of Laker fans fearing the worst that their season would immediately be over as James had been hurt.
Incredibly though, James was able to continue in the game. He is expected to be evaluated on Monday, with the Lakers now travelling to Memphis to face the red-hot Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
If James is to have suffered any knee issues, it was almost certainly mean that the season is over, with them sitting in 12th place in the western conference and in need of going on a run to make the playoffs - something they'll find tough to do without their best player in James.
The Lakers have been hugely boosted after their deadline day trades, acquiring starters D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt as well as Rui Hachimura, Mo Bamba and Davon Reed.
