LeBron James loves all things Ohio State. With all the talk of equality for women’s sports across the college and professional landscape, James put his money where his mouth is.
The Ohio native and honorary Buckeye sent the Ohio State women’s basketball team some gifts and well-wishes as the young season is just getting underway. Included in the gifts were the same OSU themed Beats given to the football team earlier in the year as well as what looks to be James signature shoes in scarlet and gray.
Accompanying the gifts were a card signed by James with the following sentiment.
The season is here. So are the expectations. But you’ve put in the work. Time to play the game. And change it forever. Let’s make some history. O-H!!!!
These are sick!🔥
Thank you @kingjames for these incredible custom branded headphones and your continued support! We salute you! O-H…. #GoBucks pic.twitter.com/6SkD7xKfIg

The women’s team is off to a hot start after making a run to the sweet 16 last spring. The Lady Bucks are 7-0 with wins over ranked Tennessee and Louisville and have climbed all the way to No. 4 in the nation.
The OSU Women will open Big Ten play on Sunday when they travel to Piscataway to take on Rutgers.
