LeBron James has been in the NBA for 21 seasons and has scored more points than anyone else.
And yet, he and the league can’t come to an agreement on what is or isn’t a foul on him.
Some context: Los Angeles Lakers coach Darvin Ham was critical on Monday night of how referees officiated James in a narrow 108-107 loss to the Miami Heat. James played 37 minutes and scored 30 points, but attempted just four shots from the free throw line. In the third quarter, Ham got a technical foul after arguing a non-call against James.
Ham said after the game, via CBS Sports:
“I see Bron shooting four free throws and the amount of time he attacked the rim, the amount of times he was slapped on the arm, which I could see plain as day. He’s not flopping. He’s not flopping.”
Ham then took things a step further Tuesday morning, as the Lakers contacted the NBA and sent in video clips about the alleged missed calls against James, according to ESPN.
But the NBA, apparently, didn’t see anything wrong with the way the game was officiated.

Which then prompted a response from King James himself:

LeBron and the Lakers play again on Wednesday in Houston at 8 p.m. ET. How he is officiated will certainly by worth watching.
