In his most recent interview, LeBron James was asked which team he would most like to play for from the NBA playoffs. His answer of course isn’t much of a surprise, as he picks the free-flowing Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors would actually make a lot of sense, because of how they space the floor and create open looks. Both stars for the Warriors do a lot of their damage without the ball in their hands. Often, Draymond Green is the playmaker while Steph Curry and Klay Thompson can create offense off of his passes.
The interesting thing with that though, would be how the team would adapt to playing with a player like James. It would actually be an easier fit than with Kevin Durant. Durant and James both need the ball in their hands to be effective, but James is a far better play maker and passer than Durant who is more of an isolation scorer.
It is always interesting to bring in another star into an established championship caliber team, but would it be too much? That’s always the question.
