LeBron James is still rated as one of NBA 2K24’s fastest players

LeBron James is going into his 21st season in the NBA, but as long as he is healthy, he should continue to play at an elite or near-elite level.

Most players, by the time they’re 38 years of age, as James is right now, have to greatly modify their games. Instead of beating opponents with speed, explosiveness or jumping ability, they have to get the job done more with intelligence, skill and will.

However, James has been a huge exception to plenty of rules that seem to govern aging athletes.

Even at this point in his career, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is still an absolute terror in the open court. Last season, he ranked second in the NBA with 8.3 transition points per game according to NBA.com.

In fact, NBA 2K24 has James tied for 17th in overall speed with an 87 speed rating and an 85 rating when it comes to speed with the ball, per HoopsHype.

With the way he takes care of his body and invests boatloads of money to keep it right, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer could have multiple seasons of excellent open-court play left in him.
