It’s safe to say that one the greatest NBA players of all-time knows the rules of basketball. So when LeBron James, the NBA’s the all-time leading scorer, takes to social media to criticize the 1985 film Teen Wolf, it’s worth listening.
The ‘80’s comedy, starring Michael J. Fox, is centered around a teenager who discovers he can transform into a wolf. He uses his new-found powers to develop into his high school's most dominant basketball player - while also becoming the most popular kid at school.
James, who is in the midst of the offseason, decided to take issue with the most climatic scene of the movie.
“Sitting here watching Teen Wolf (1985). The last basketball scene when he didn’t go back to the wolf is the funniest basketball I’ve ever seen!!! And why/how is ole buddy standing under the rim at the end to win the game with free throws,” James tweeted.

James is referencing the final scene, when actor Mark Arnold—who plays the role of the opposing high school team's best player in the championship game—stands directly under the basket facing Fox while he attempts to sink two game-winning free throws. Additionally, no one from either team is standing on the sides of the lane awaiting any possible rebound either.
The four-time NBA Champion challenged how it was legal for Arnold’s character to stand directly under the basket in an attempt to distract Fox while he was at the line.
While it may seem that James has too much time on his hands during the offseason, he did astutely challenge how director Rod Daniel could make such an egregious decision to film something that is completely illegal on any hardwood.
