Aaron Rodgers’ return to Jets practice 79 days after he tore his Achilles tendon is a major milestone in the quarterback’s attempt to return this year.
One NFL fan in particular is thoroughly impressed by Rodgers' ability to return to the football field this quickly after such a brutal injury. Lakers forward LeBron James praised Rodgers with a post on social media Wednesday after seeing a video of the quarterback throwing a football in Jets practice.
“Wow!!! Simply INCREDIBLE!!” James wrote. “Back where he belong!”

James himself continues to impress with his play at 38 years old, as he remains one of the best players in the NBA in his 21st season. The veteran has also always appreciated other athletes who are among the best at their crafts, so it is not a surprise that he chimed in on Rodgers’ rehab.
Rodgers and James are almost exactly a year apart in age, so they have simultaneously witnessed each other perform at the top of their games. With Rodgers turning 40 in December and James turning 39 a few weeks later, the two will keep their fight alive to defeat Father Time.
