LeBron James and Steph Curry went back-and-forth in another impressive outing last night in what it set to be a thrilling playoff duel.
The NBA's two biggest superstars, James and Curry are both looking for their fifth NBA championship - with the latter's Golden State Warriors the current defending champions after defeating the Boston Celtics in last year's finals.
James' Los Angeles Lakers came into the playoffs as big underdogs, only making the post-season after a late flurry of wins after the team made significant changes to their roster.
The Warriors have struggled themselves this season after last year's success, but remain one of the favourites with Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green still on the roster.
The first game in the series on Tuesday night saw James and the Lakers steal a win in Golden State's home after Anthony Davis took over the game scoring 30 points and bringing down a whopping 23 rebounds, while James added 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Game two was a much-needed win for the Warriors, and they replied strongly with a dominant 27-point win over the Lakers - as Curry and Thompson combined for 50 points in a low scoring game.
And although it became a blowout in the second half, both James and Curry made statement plays throughout the game.
With the play clock ticking down in the second quarter, James drained a huge three-point shot off the backboard to bring the team level with the momentum with the Lakers.
But in the third, Curry took over and put the Warriors in the driving seat - as he scored an outrageous three-point shot while being guarded by two Lakers defenders.
With the series now tied, both teams will now head to Los Angeles to play two games at the Lakers home - putting James in a strong position to take a series lead.
At the mid-way point of the season, the Lakers had the third-worst record in the NBA, before they traded away Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley for a four players who have made a huge impact on the team.
