LeBron James and Draymond Green seen together in France

LeBron James and Draymond Green have had fierce battles on the basketball court over the years, but sometimes it seems they belong to some sort of strange mutual admiration club.

Green has publicly sung James’ praises a few times, and he is represented by Klutch Sports Group, the agency that was founded by James’ close friend Rich Paul. There were even some rumors that Green might want to join the Los Angeles Lakers several months ago.

On Monday morning, Green declined his player option for next season, which will make him a free agent. Around the same time, he and James were seen together in France, where James had recently been the official starter for the famed Le Mans auto race.

James’ Lakers, of course, eliminated Green’s Golden State Warriors in six games in the second round of the playoffs.

Although the Warriors reportedly badly want Green to remain put, many believe he has had one foot out the door for a while.
