The Los Angeles Lakers will be very short-handed when they take on the Phoenix Suns on Monday evening in Arizona.
They’ve already been without Anthony Davis, who is expected to miss at least one month with a foot injury he sustained in Friday’s win over the Denver Nuggets. Even without him, they managed to defeat the Washington Wizards by two points on Sunday.
Davis had been on a huge tear over the past month or so and was starting to be considered an MVP candidate at the time of his injury.
But L.A. also will not have LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Austin Reaves versus Chris Paul and company.
Lakers say LeBron James (left ankle soreness), Austin Reaves (right ankle sprain) and Anthony Davis (right foot soreness) are out tonight at Phoenix. Patrick Beverley (right calf soreness) is questionable.

Reaves appeared to tweak his ankle during Sunday’s contest, although he was able to return and help the Lakers win.
Phoenix will also be short-handed. It will be without the services of Devin Booker as well as key role players Cameron Johnson and Cameron Payne.
