LeBron James clarified his age in a viral photo that compared the Lakers superstar to G League Ignite player Scoot Henderson.
House of Highlights reposted a graphic comparing what claimed to be an 18-year-old James to Henderson at the same age. In the picture, one can see James in his St. Vincent-St. Mary High School Fighting Irish gear next to Henderson in his Ignite jersey.
“Scoot is SHREDDED,” the page captioned the post with mind-blown and stunned emojis.

Fans began debating under the post before James himself issued a correction on the Instagram page’s behalf.
“That me at 15 by the way! Lol,” he wrote.

His comment had nearly 80,000 likes as of Thursday morning. James, notably, was drafted No. 1 by the Cavaliers straight out of high school before the NBA changed draft eligibility rules. The now 19-year-old Henderson, who is averaging 16.6 points in the 2022–23 G League, is eligible in the upcoming draft and projected to be the No. 2 pick.
