Lebanon's representative to the United Nations General Assembly, Bahia El Hariri, spoke on behalf of Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati regarding the turmoil caused by Israel's recent deadly attacks. El Hariri highlighted the urgent circumstances facing the Lebanese people, particularly in their homes, as a result of the aggression they are facing on multiple fronts.

El Hariri emphasized that the Lebanese government, led by Prime Minister Mikati, is actively working to address the aggression at diplomatic, humanitarian, health, security, and livelihood levels. She expressed concern over the targeting of residential areas, leading to an exodus of people seeking safety. This situation has not only impacted the economy of Lebanon but also posed a threat to social order, prompting some countries to advise their nationals to leave the country.
