Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati expressed his gratitude for the ceasefire deal during a call with US President Joe Biden. Mikati highlighted the support provided by the US to Lebanon and acknowledged the efforts of US envoy Mr. Amos Hochstein.

He also extended his thanks to both the US and France for their roles in facilitating the ceasefire agreement. Mikati emphasized that the deal marks a significant milestone in promoting peace and stability in Lebanon and the wider region.
