Manchester United made the worst possible start to the first-leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tussle with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Tuesday evening, falling behind inside just seven minutes.
Connecting with Renan Lodi's excellent cross from the left-flank, Portuguese striker Joao Felix powered a header past David de Gea after he found himself in between Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire inside the penalty area.
The youngster came across Maguire and measured his run to perfection to head the ball in via the woodwork, handing United and boss Ralf Rangnick the worst possible start.
While huge praise must be given to Lodi for the cross and Felix for the finish, United, from their own point of view, will be kicking themselves after Maguire failed to spot the latter making his move across him.
United's supporters immediately took to social media to react to Atletico making a lightning start and they vented their frustration, not for the first time in recent weeks, at Maguire.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some of United's fans had to say.
As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, United's supporters have heavily criticised Maguire for failing to react quickly enough to stop Felix's run.
The United captain has come in for hefty criticism in recent weeks and Atletico's opener is not going to help him in his attempts to rebuild his relationship with the fans who have criticised him of late.
