Leandro Trossard has revealed that talk of an exit from Brighton and Hove Albion will be put on hold until after the World Cup. The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to both Chelsea and Arsenal lately amid a handful of impressive displays for Roberto De Zerbi's side.
The Belgium international has featured nine times for the Seagulls in the Premier League this season, directly contributing towards seven goals. Trossard's performances have helped Brighton clamber into seventh position, as the Amex Stadium looks to host European football next term.
He's already admitted that he would want to follow former boss Graham Potter to Stamford Bridge "if the opportunity arises". But, the Belgian insisted that he would not settle for anything less than a place in the Blues' starting XI.

"Our coach has now left for Chelsea, but speculations about me following him are pointless," Trossard said in September. "If the opportunity arises, I want to go. But I do want to play and not sit on the couch."
Then, when asked again about a move to Chelsea, Trossard said that he'll be putting talk of a move away from the south coast on hold until after the World Cup. The final of the international competition is on December 18, with the January transfer window to open just under two weeks later.
"It’s very difficult to answer that," Trossard told Play Sports. "That will have to wait until [after the World Cup]. I’m not on it at all right now. Brighton and the World Cup are the next goals. Afterwards, we’ll see where it ends."
Potter's exit from Brighton came as a shock to the £13million-rated forward, but admitted that he and the squad expected to see the 47-year-old leave for pastures new one day. Speaking to the Independent over the international break, Trossard said: "It all happened quite quickly.
"One day we heard Tuchel was fired and that Graham was up there to take his place. For us it was a bit of a shock, but we knew that maybe one day he could go because he is a brilliant manager. At the beginning it was a bit strange, but now with the new coach we need to move on as a club and as players. I am excited to work with the new coach."
