Jonas Eidevall could not give an update on Leah Williamson’s injury in the immediate wake of Arsenal’s Women’s Super League loss to Manchester United.
Alessia Russo scored the only goal of the game as United kept their place at the top of the WSL table.
The Red Devils are now four points clear of Chelsea, although Emma Hayes’ side boast two games in hand.
The game, however, was marred by an injury worry to England skipper Williamson.
The Lionesses defender was forced off with a knee injury early into the first-half, appearing to twist it after winning the ball in midfield.
Williamson was surrounded by medical staff for several minutes and worries as to her fitness with the World Cup so close were hard to ignore.
Arsenal also face Wolfsburg in the Champions League semi-finals on Sunday and missing Williamson would be a major blow.
Eidevall confirmed it was too early to draw a definitive conclusion after the game.
United boss Marc Skinner, meanwhile said: “Nobody wanted to see that. I’ve just seen her inside.
“She seemed in really high spirits. We hope it’s something minor and it’s just a precaution. All of us want to see her leading the Lionesses in the summer so wish her all the very best."
