Port Vale's resounding 3-0 victory over Mansfield Town at Wembley on Saturday completed the 2022/23 League One lineup that awaits Bristol Rovers next season.
The Gas secured their promotion on May 7, with a 7-0 beating of Scunthorpe United just enough to snatch the third and final automatic promotion place on the final day of the League Two season. Play-off final winners Vale, League Two champions Forest Green Rovers and runners-up Exeter City join Joey Barton's side in the third tier.
Barnsley, Peterborough United and Derby County suffered relegation from the Championship, with Wayne Rooney's Rams among the early promotion favourites with a takeover to take the club out of administration edging closer.
MK Dons, Wycombe Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday are licking their wounds after disappointment in the play-offs and will hope to compete strongly again, while Ipswich Town, Bolton Wanderers, Oxford United, Plymouth Argyle and Portsmouth won't want to spend another season on the outside of the top six looking in.
Charlton Athletic, set to be managed by former Gas manager Ben Garner, and Accrington Stanley will have designs on being closer to the play-off picture.
Cambridge United and Cheltenham Town did well to comfortably consolidate their place in League One after promotion, and Morecambe were delighted to avoid relegation by two points.
Burton Albion, Lincoln City and Shrewsbury Town were rarely in danger of the drop last season, but they will be eager to escape the bottom half next term.
Rounding off the list is Fleetwood Town, now managed by Celtic hero Scott Brown, and he will want much better than last season's finish, with the Cod Army avoiding relegation on goal difference, as he takes charge at Highbury Stadium.
