Lawrence Shankland was the big winner as he scooped the two main awards at Hearts' Player of the Year awards.
The stand-in skipper - who has taken on the armband since Craig Gordon's s eason-ending injury at Christmas time - was voted the Players' Player of the Year and the Fans' Player of the Year in a debut campaign to remember at Tynecastle. He also landed a special Memorable Moment prize for equalling John Robertson's goal scoring record.
The Scotland international has been a revelation since making the move to the Gorgie side. Former boss Robbie Neilson was desperate to land the striker he worked with at Dundee United and eventually got his man in the summer and his goal record has been nothing short of sensational. He netted a hat-trick in the thumping weekend win over Ross County to take his league tally to 21 goals and overall number to 25 for the campaign to date.

That form has impressed both his team-mates and supports alike who handed him the top awards as he looks to guide his men to a big season end after bringing an end to a horror run of defeats to hit Ross County for six for Steven Naismith's first win as interim boss.
The Jambos are five points behind Aberdeen in the race for third spot - with five games to play including Barry Robson's red-hot in-form side. The supporters will also have another derby day to look forward to as they seek revenge for the recent defeat at Easter Road.
Zander Clark - who has been solid since taking over the No1 spot with Gordon out - was handed the Save of the Season accolade for his double save against Lee Johnson's men while Stephen Humphrys picked up the Goal of the Season gong with Gordon landing the club 'Special Recognition' prize.
On the race for third, Shankland said: “We’re going to play good teams but we’re a good team as well. That’s why we’re up there and have been most of the season. It’s just getting that belief back and this will help that. We’re playing teams we’ve beaten so we’ll go in full steam ahead. It’s definitely achievable.
“We know how important it is to the club. We want the European nights and away trips again for the fans. We need to look to do it. We’re three points closer to it and we need to play Aberdeen after the split. We should be at home so we’re looking forward to it.
“We want the experiences of being in Europe and playing in those big games. There were a couple of tough asks in the group stage and there were lessons for us but the whole experience was enjoyable. We need to be determined to get that again. You want to test yourself against those teams.”
