Lawrence Shankland has been called up to the Scotland squad ahead of a crucial clash with Spain.
The Hearts forward, who many believe deserves a spot in Steve Clarke's squad, has been given the nod as Che Adams withdrew following his injury suffered against Cyprus. Shankland got his first call up in 2019 and has made just four appearances for the national side after being featured for Under21s.
The Jambos hitman is in some vein of form for Robbie Neilson's side with 21 goals this campaign across 38 games. He replaces the Southampton striker and joins the likes of Lyndon Dykes and Ryan Christie in attacking options.
