Law firm Montpellier Legal moves to new Cheltenham headquarters

A Gloucestershire conveyancing law firm has moved to a new headquarters as it continues to expand in the legal industry.

Montpellier Legal's new 60,00 sq ft Cheltenham base will be located in The Brewery Quarter, among a mix of retail, leisure and commercial offerings in the area.

The firm opened in 2021 and has continued to grow, which chief executive Simon Thomas credits to its "modern approach" to conveyancing.

Mr Thomas said: "Most legal firms are still stuck in the past when it comes to conveyancing. What our clients are always surprised and delighted with is the speed in which we get the job done, and how well we communicate the process to them. It’s why in the last 18 months our business has grown at the rate it has.”

Nick Ponting, the chief operating officer of Montpellier Legal added: "We’re thrilled to be bringing our modern headquarters to The Brewery Quarter. It is a fantastic location for our employees and our clients alike. We’re excited to be part of such a vibrant and diverse community of businesses. We look forward to servicing our clients in the area and contributing to the continued growth and success of The Brewery Quarter."

With the opening of the new head offices, The Brewery Quarter is now 99% let with just one 2,000 sqft unit remaining.

Nikki Kontarines, director of Martin Commercial Properties, the managing agents of The Brewery Quarter said: “Montpellier Legal's decision to open an office in The Brewery Quarter is a testament to the destination's appeal and its reputation as a hub for commerce and entrepreneurship. It solidifies our position as a sought- after destination for businesses looking to establish a presence in the area.”

Montpellier Legal's new office is expected to open in the coming quarter, and the firm continues to recruit talent to support its operations in the area. The new office will provide a range of legal conveyancing services, including sale and purchase transactions, for both freehold and leasehold properties.
