Lautaro Martinez's agent issues response to Arsenal and Man Utd transfer interest

Lautaro Martinez's agent Alejandro Camaño has opened up about the Inter Milan forward's future amid potential transfer interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Argentine has been in excellent form this season, scoring 21 goals in 45 appearances. He also scored in the Champions League last-16 second-leg against Liverpool in March. According to The Times, United and Arsenal are both interested in a summer swoop for Martinez. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Inter ever since he helped the club to their first Serie A title for 11 years.

Martinez scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists, forming a dangerous partnership with Romelu Lukaku as Antonio Conte's side pipped Juventus and Napoli to first place. Lukaku and Martinez were both tipped to leave the I Nerazzurri last summer, but it was only the former who got his move as the Belgian joined Chelsea.

However, Martinez has attracted even more interest from a whole host of clubs around Europe, with Atletico Madrid also in the race to sign him. When asked about his players' future, Campano recognises he represents one of the most talented strikers in the world.

He said, via Mundo Deportivo : "Today the only thing we want is to be champion at Inter, and then God will say. He's comfortable, he's fine. But we don't get involved in what the clubs want to do, we know what Lautaro wants to do, which is to become champion with Inter and have a good World Cup, that's the only thing Lauti has in mind, God will tell the rest”.

Regarding his future, he added that "Lauti is going to give us a lot of joy in the coming years, wherever he goes he is going to be an entertainer. He will succeed wherever he is, surely he will do well. Hopefully he plays in a great team and can compete in competitions like the Champions League."

These comments suggest Martinez could be staying at Inter next season. The club are locked in a title race with city rivals AC Milan but have already secured Champions League football.

Meanwhile, United are all but set to miss out on qualifying for the competition, while Arsenal are in pole position to finish in fourth. This could tempt Martinez to join the Gunners, espeically given he will likely to be their first-choice No.9 with Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazetta out of contract this summer.
