Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen in boozy brawl at The Ritz after drinking too much gin

TV star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has revealed how he ended up in a BRAWL after going on a massive bender.

The 57-year-old Changing Rooms star said he was a huge fan of gin and tonic, but that he drunk far too much during a boozy birthday bash, which left him with a three day hangover.

Speaking last week, the TV star said: "I had a three-day hangover a couple of years ago.

"We went for lunch at The Ivy for my birthday, and then we went to The Ritz.

"I don't really remember what happened, but I think I may have started a fight."

He added: "I remember having meetings the next day and being aware of the fact I was still drunk.

"Then I had meetings the day after and I was very aware of the fact I was hungover."

He also told You magazine that he loved gin, adding: "Gin is my aqua vitae.

"Everybody assumes that because I'm so dang fancy I'm going to go for a fancy gin, but I'm in it for quantity rather than quality."

He previously revealed many women aren’t afraid to “slide into my DMs”.

He added: “Well, actually, the thing is, I do, but a lot of them are in foreign languages, so I don't really know what they’re saying!

“I'm quite big in Colombia, and we all know they're very oversexed!

“So I think if you look at my DMs, I suppose I could press the translate button, but I think I probably don't want to!”

But it seems it’s not just Colombian women he’s got hot under the collar.

The star - who’s been happily married to wife Jackie for more than three decades - says a British TV presenter recently admitted she had a sex dream about him.

He added: “I was talking to a very august television presenter lady, who shall remain nameless, who admitted to the fact that she had a sex dream about me!

“We didn't actually consummate anything, but it was a lovely romantic, very kind of a wooing moment.

“It was very sexy, up until the point where I said to her, 'Okay, well, just hang on, I better let Jackie know because she's in the car downstairs.'

“And this particular television person just went, 'Right, well that was it. The mood just completely, absolutely went!'

And the interior designer turned TV presenter is now on a one-man mission to inject colour and craziness into homes around the country, hoping his fans will rebel against the “four grey walls of Mrs Hinch”.

He said: “There's been sort of disengagement, kind of a slight disenfranchisement, from home decorating, up to the pandemic.

“We were very bullied by the estate agents, and by the Marie Kondos and the Mrs Hinches of the world, to grey it all down.

“And of course, lockdown just meant everybody wanted to do things that were deeply personal, and deeply fun, deeply expressive of who they were.

“The pandemic proved to everybody that actually your home isn't just a pile of cash. Your home is shelter. Your home is an enormous financial investment, but also a phenomenal, phenomenal, emotional investment.

“We should be a lot happier, and one of the big indicators of that kind of happiness is a nation that is decorating its home in a way that reflects its personality.”
