Lauren Harries' family have spoken out to update fans on her condition, after the Celebrity Big Brother was placed in a coma by doctors earlier this month.
Lauren, who became a massive fan favourite when she went into the Big Brother house in 2013, underwent brain surgery in April, after becoming gravely ill with a sudden illness. And her family broke the worrying news on Monday, June 6, the 45-year-old's family revealed the sad news that Lauren's condition had taken a turn for the worse. Sharing an update with fans, they wrote: "Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control" asking for everyone to pray for her.
On Friday, a post appeared on Lauren's Twitter account, sharing a picture of her using a walking frame, adding the caption: "Lauren hasn't had a seizure for a few days which is a great relief. She still can't walk without help. We are still waiting for tests and her toes are in a lot of pain. She's a fighter and been through so much. Thank you to everyone who is staying positive and praying for her. She loves you all."
There were plenty of responses to the post, with one follower responding: "Keep going Lauren. Good to see you up and looking glam" and a second commenting: "Positive thoughts stay strong"
Lauren herself took to Instagram, to give a much more brief message to fans via a post on her story, telling them that she was painting a new collection of pictures, based on her time in hospital.
