Lauren Goodger has told her followers she appreciates their support in what has been a "terrible whirlwind" number of weeks.
The former TOWIE star, 35, revealed last month her newborn baby had tragically died shortly after she was born. At the time of baby Lorena's death, Lauren was already grieving the loss of her ex boyfriend Jake McLean who lost his life at the age of 33 in a horrific car crash in Turkey.
And shortly after Lorena's funeral earlier this month the reality TV star was allegedly assaulted.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday evening, Lauren penned a lengthy post to her 853k followers to let them know how much their well wishes have meant to her in these dark times. She started by saying: "Just want to say thank you to everyone for all the love & support in this horrendous terrible whirlwind in my life the last few weeks! I do read your messages thank you.
"During this traumatic time I've lost but I've also gained some values in this awful heartbroken time ... some new friends and become closer to my current ones & some family ..it really has shown me who is meant to be in my life and I love each and every one one of you thank you .. I only have a few and that's all I need and it's taught me some life long lessons however hard it's been."
She continued: "Asked Lorena when I had her at home the night before her funeral ‘please guide me please let my life, lead the path it's meant to be & give me strength & courage’ and a lot changed instantly and I trust her.
"She is making my new path thank you Lorena I love you and I know you’re with me always and I know you've cleared out and made way for what's meant to be."
Lauren finished her heartfelt post by admitting she doesn't have any answer at the moment but she is learning and labelled Lorena as her "rock".
She signed off: "She has kept me going mentally and physically I love you so much my special girl."
Lauren first announced the death of Lorena on July 10 in a heartbreaking Instagram post. She described the tot as "the most beautiful healthy baby" before saying words couldn't describe the pain she was feeling at the loss.
She has recently picked up the youngster's ashes and revealed Lorena "is now at home".
