Lauren Goodger says she's 'mentally and physically exhausted' as she prepares for birth

Lauren Goodger revealed she has been feeling both 'mentally and physically' exhausted as she looks after her baby and prepares for the arrival of her second child.

The 35-year-old former Towie star became a first-time mum last year when she welcomed her daughter, Larose, with her on-off, currently on, boyfriend Charles Drury, 23.

And now, her due date for her second child is already around the corner.

Lauren took to her Instagram Stories to share an adorable boomerang of little Larose enjoying some food on a highchair.

"I still haven't rested but I do it all for her," she captioned the post. "We been up most of the night.

"My whole body is shaking in so much pain carrying this baby (bump) and Larose. Cried already this morning I am so overwhelmed...

"I hate seeing her uncomfortable, stressed, or in pain. This is why I keep going..."

She continued: "But what a proud mumma I'll look back one day at my babies and say that was me. I am mentally and physically exhausted. I don't know how I do it...

"Yeah I do it running on love xx."

Lauren also posted a story explaining how she thinks Larose might be teething.

"Been up since 3am with Larose. Got 45 mins in and then she not settled again... I think teething. Just been so different last few nights," she wrote.

The Only Way Is Essex star recently admitted that she has been feeling terrified about giving birth as her first one was incredibly difficult.

Lauren fell pregnant with her second child just ten weeks after the arrival of Larose.

In her Instagram stories recently, the TV personality shared her fears about the upcoming birth.

She said: "Laying here so tired meant to of been sleep 2.5 hours ago! And all I can think about is labour!! Giving birth and I've got to do it all again... Scared."

Lauren gave birth at home, in a drug-free labour, describing it as the "hardest thing I've ever done in my life", and feared she was going to die due to the pain and constant contractions.

In a follow-up post the next day, the influencer said despite her fears she knows she will be strong.

She said: "Thank you for all the DMS about my labour! I've got an 8 month old and I'm over 7 months pregnant... Not long and I do a homebirth that is natural... (some gas and air) don't like it.

"So I feel everything I'm so scared but I know I am strong and go into my zone."
