Lauren Goodger says Lorena is 'now at home' as she picks daughter's ashes up

Lauren Goodger has revealed in an emotional Instagram post she has picked up baby Lorena's ashes and brought them to the family home.

The former TOWIE star, 35, was left heartbroken last month as she announced her newborn daughter had died shortly after she was born.

On Wednesday evening she shared an image of her daughter Larose, one, standing beside her coffee table with a sweet bow in her hair. She captioned the snap: "We picked up Lorena's ashes today," alongside emojis of a teary face, blue butterfly and an angel. She continued: "She is now at home with us," followed by two love hearts.

Lauren revealed the tragic news of baby Lorena's death last month in a social media post on July 10 as she shared a black and white image of the tot's hand touching hers.

She wrote alongside the photo: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken.

"I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

She continued: "Please can I ask photographers to respect our privacy right now as we have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive…

"I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My [angel emoji] Lorena I love you so much."

In a candid interview with new! magazine a few weeks later, she admitted she felt like she had been "run over".

She said: "I'm not getting anywhere by blaming myself. I have to try and move forwards and accept it. First I need to understand it. She was just perfect."

And she confessed she isn't ready to consider trying for another baby and wouldn't opt for a vaginal birth again, and would instead choose to have a caesarean section.
