Lauren Goodger plans to give birth in a 'stable' at home while baby Larose is asleep

Pregnant Lauren Goodger says she is hoping to plan the arrival of her second child around her current baby’s sleep patterns and that she will give birth in a double-glazed stable.

The 35-year-old former Towie star became a first time mum last year when she welcomed her daughter, Larose, with her on-off, currently on, boyfriend Charles Drury, 23.

Lauren had a natural, at home birth when she welcomed Larose last July and is planning to welcomed her second daughter in a similar fashion.

However, she won’t be filling her birthing pool in the living room this time around, as Lauren is planning to convert her home’s annex building into a special birthing room – and that she hopes she will go into labour once Larose has been put down for a nap.

She explained to new! magazine: “This time I’m really worried about Larose, but hopefully she’ll be asleep. But I’m going to do it in the annexe – it’ll be like a stable. Thank God it’s double-glazed!”

She went on to explain that she will have a small team beside her to help her welcome her second child into the world.

Lauren said: “I’m going to get a smaller birthing pool, Charlie’s going to be there and my midwife and doula. The good thing about a home birth is you can have a shower and a cup of tea after.”

Charles added that he too is excited for the second birthing.

He said: “Lauren’s already done it once and she did it really well and everyone said she had the textbook labour for her first birth. I was very impressed with the way Lauren dealt with it and got through it all.”

Lauren and Charles’ relationship is currently on good terms – after they went through a turbulent time following the arrival of Larose.

Fans were shocked when Charles broke up with Lauren after they welcomed their first child – with allegations flying that he didn’t visit their daughter when she was hospitalised; an accusation Charles furiously denied.

Charles then bedded a love rival while they were separated – sparking more tension between the pair.

But their past low points look to be behind them, as Lauren explained in an interview with OK! Magazine this week.

She told the publication: "It's actually better now than it ever has been.

“We went through it and I’m glad we’ve gone through it as it’s actually made us stronger."

Charles told OK! during the same interview: "Moving house, having a baby and going through the tests in our relationship has made us stronger and now we’re probably the happiest we’ve been. I’m really happy my family is back together and things have been good at home. I’m 100% committed to my family.”

And Lauren explained that her younger lover helped patch up their relationship in a variety of ways.

She gushed: “We did have loads of good sex. And lots of love. It’s just different. He came back very positive and full of energy and said, ‘I’m going to help you more with Larose, I really appreciate you as a mum – you’re amazing.’ Things he hadn’t really said.”
