Lauren Goodger fell pregnant with her second child just 10 weeks after giving birth, and admits she considered getting an abortion.
The former TOWIE star, 35, says she thought about terminating her pregnancy after splitting from the father of her kids, Charles Drury, and discovering she'd be a single mum of two kids under one.
Lauren and Charles, 24, went their separate ways after welcoming daughter Larose together, but are working hard to co-parent, especially now that they have another little one on the way.
And when her relationship with the builder hit the rocks, Lauren says she began thinking about her future as a single mother.
Admitting she considered a termination, Lauren told The Sun : "I was in two minds. I wasn’t sure of the right thing to do and was worried if all this would be fair on Larose.
"I didn’t want her to feel confused — she’s been my No1 and I would never want her to think that had changed. Plus, the situation with me and Charlie wasn’t great.
"Everybody said, ‘Lauren, don’t go ahead — you’re fine with one child’. There was a lot to think about."
After thinking long and hard about it all, Lauren decided that being a single mum didn't scare her and that although it would be hard, it would be a "lovely challenge".
And Charles was very supportive of her decision, with Lauren saying he wanted the baby regardless of their romantic situation.
Lauren said she has "no worries" about her ex as she knows how much he loves Larose and that he'll love their second daughter just as much.
The reality star's second pregnancy came as quite a surprise as she was exclusively breastfeeding Larose at the time, which usually stops menstruation.
It was recently reported that Lauren and Charles were spending their nights sleeping under the same roof as she prepares to give birth.
A source told new! magazine: "Lauren and Charles are continuing to co-parent their daughter. Charlie is there at the weekends and occasionally a night during the week to support Lauren and see Larose.
"He stays over at Lauren’s house in Essex, as he’s currently living elsewhere – but they sleep in separate beds, of course."
