Laura Woods schools talkSPORT colleague after Arsenal trolling attempt backfires

Arsenal fan and talkSPORT presenter Laura Woods brutally mocked colleague Jamie O'Hara after the former Tottenham player's attempts to troll the Gunners backfired.

After Mikel Arteta's side dropped points for the second consecutive game in a 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday, O'Hara attempted to poke fun at Arsenal and joke they are 'crumbling' in the Premier League title race. However, he made a big mistake by posting a GIF of an apple pie instead of an apple crumble.

And Woods ripped into O'Hara over his blunder, saying: "My favourite moment from the weekend was that he sent me a DM about Arsenal's performances, forgetting that I watch football and understand what happened to Spurs as well.

"Then I went onto his Twitter page, loads of people tagged me in this, what he meant to do was post a photo of an apple crumble, right? To say that Arsenal are crumbling.

"But he didn't – he just put a pie up. So there's just a piece of pie. Come on, Jamie. You can't even get that right! It wasn't even a crumble, come on, Jamie! Bless him."

Despite his blunder, O'Hara joined the show to revel in the fact Arsenal dropped points, despite Tottenham suffering a 3-2 loss at home to Bournemouth on Saturday. He said: "Arsenal crumbled, didn't they Laura? I'm sitting here sipping on Arsenal's tears! It's a good day, Laura. It's a good day."

And after Woods brought up Tottenham's defeat to Bournemouth, he added: "Of course I'm going to bring Arsenal up, why would I want to talk about Tottenham? Tottenham's season is over! Let's talk about your mob who have crumbled."

At which point Woods asked O'Hara about his tweet, with the ex-Spurs star sticking to his guns and continuing to goad Arsenal fans, claiming they will "fall apart by the end of the season" and get leapfrogged by Manchester City who now sit just four points behind them with a game in hand.

"Speaking of crumble, do you know how to identify a crumble yet, or are you still putting pies on social media?" Woods asked. "You had one job to get that right, Jamie, and you put a pie on instead of an apple crumble. What are you like?!"

"I'm in so many Arsenal people's heads and I'm loving every minute of it," O'Hara responded. "I said it all along, they will fall apart by the end of the season. The pressure will get to them and it has."
