Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore has shared her thoughts on who will win the 2022 series, following Casa Amor's dramatic recoupling.
Viewers enjoyed some intense scenes on Thursday night (July 7) as islanders decided whether to stick with their current partner or couple up with a new bombshell.
Laura, 37, has now backed Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti to win the ITV show - despite saying Gemma Owen and Luca Bish are the strongest couple in the villa.
"At the moment the strongest couple seem to be Gemma and Luca, but I don’t think they’ll win, I think they’ll be in the final. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ekin-Su and Davide win," she told Capital Breakfast on Friday.
"I think they’ll be in the final, I also think some of the couples that aren’t together now will get back together," she added.
When pushed by radio host Roman Kemp about who she thinks will win the show, Laura said: "I can’t pick one!... Ekin-Su and Davide!"
Laura also said she "loved" watching 27-year-old Ekin-Su's reactions to all of the drama.
"I got star struck when she walked in because she wasn’t part of the original line-up so when I did the coupling up, there was a lot of new people in there and she’s very good," Laura said.
"Her reactions, I was kind of watching her in my peripheral, so I’ll be talking to, I think it was Mollie, when Mollie said about being in the bed with Davide, and I was just like 'oh!', and Ekin-Su was just, grabbed his hand and threw it away.
"Like yes Ekin-Su! But I’ve also seen you having a little fiddle as well, I love it, the hypocrisy of it all!"
Ekin-Su was left shaking during Thursday night's episode after bombshell Mollie Salmon revealed she had kissed Davide, 27, and shared a bed with him in Casa Amor.
Things initially seemed to be going well for Davide and Ekin-Su as they both decided to stick with each other, sharing a heart-warming reunion in the main villa.
But Mollie, 23, then exposed Davide saying: "We were sharing a bed most nights and we were kissing. He also said he had his eyes on me since the start, so I'm a bit confused."
Ekin-Su said she felt as though she would have a heart attack but Davide laughed over the drama.
The couple later shared a heart-to-heart, with Davide saying: "I want[ed] to choose you because I believe in our connection."
