BBC journalist Laura Kuenssberg has announced she will return to present her show this Sunday (November 5) after a few weeks away.
Victoria Derbyshire has stood in for Kuenssberg to host the flagship political news show in recent weeks.
The presenter’s father, leading Scottish businessman Nick Kuenssberg, died recently at the age of 80.
The host returns amid the ongoing UK Covid-19 Inquiry, and it seems likely this will be among the topics discussed on the show.
Writing on Twitter/X, Kuenssberg said: “Looking forward to being back on #bbclaurak this Sunday – thank you very much for all the kind messages in the last few weeks, and to @vicderbyshire for holding the fort!.”
