After a whirlwind romance that saw former Love Island star Laura Anderson and ex-EastEnders actor Gary Lucy meet on Celebs Go Dating and announce they are expecting their first baby together, the pair dramatically split just days after the pregnancy news. Now Gary has shared some big news about the new baby.
Gary, 41, took to Instagram to announce their baby’s gender as he shared an image of a caption that read “Daddy’s Girl”. “For everyone that’s been asking. Let’s hope she inherits her mother’s looks," Gary wrote alongside it, adding: "Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone... so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!" Laura is yet to comment or talk about the gender of their baby yet. When telling her fans that she had split from Gary she said she was "left with no choice" but to explain their split, after Gary told The Sun that they had separated.

Posting on her Instagram story, she said: "I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary. However, due to what has now been publicly shared by other parties, I have been left with no other choice. Gary and I are no longer together due to multiple reasons which will remain private".
The Love Island star went on to detail how she was originally planning on moving to Essex to be with Gary, however now she will be remaining at her home in Scotland. She said: "Our plan was for me to move to Essex to start our family which I was more than happy to do. However since the breakdown of our relationship I have remained at home in Scotland. My priority is bringing my baby up in a calm and stable environment".
