Laura Anderson receives sweet handwritten note from stranger after having 'tough time'

Love Island star Laura Anderson has thanked a stranger online for leaving her a sweet handwritten note after she revealed she's going through a tough time.

Laura, from Stirling, took to Instagram to share the thoughtful letter addressed to her and her beloved pooch Buddy, following her alleged break up with Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy.

Laura, who lives in Glasgow, has said on social media that she's going through a difficult time. The 33-year-old, who appeared on the 2018 series of Love Island, has deleted all traces of Gary from her social media, and seems to have unfollowed him on Instagram too.

The Celebs Go Dating star was on a flight when she was left a note which read: "Hi Laura and Buddy, me and my mum both follow you on Instagram. We both think you are one of the most beautiful person inside and out. We saw your post about going through a hard time...

"Please remember that life always has ups and downs and hey, there is always better days coming just around the corner. Never change, you are one unstoppable girl."

Laura shared the note and wrote: "To the person who left this by my seat, you made my flight. Apologies if I was snoring."

Last week, the Scots beauty updated fans with some cryptic quotes which appear to confirm that her and Gary's relationship is off.

Sharing a message to her 1.5M followers, Laura posted a quote which read: "I deserve it all. The career. The love. The family. The peace. The life'"

Laura then wrote: "We all do my angels. Especially the peace."

On Friday night, Laura explained the reason she had been quiet on her social media as she told her followers that she's going through a 'very difficult time'.

Posting a snap of herself and her dog Buddy, Laura wrote: "I know I've been quiet on here and not myself this week or so.

"I'm going through a very difficult time, I actually don't think I've ever felt so stressed in my life.

"As we know Instagram isn't real life but over sharing negativity has never been something I like doing. Anyway my thought of the day for us all is - never lose yourself or your voice."
