Laura Anderson has said she is "buzzing" after revealing news of her pregnancy and has thanked fans for their supportive messages since announcing that she was going to be a mum.
The former Love Island beauty told her 1.5 million followers on Instagram on Thursday morning that she was expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend and Hollyoaks hunk, Gary Lucy.
Laura, 33, from Stirling has since took to the social media site tonight and said it was hard to keep the news a secret.
In a video she said: "Gang. How are we all? I just wanted to pop on quickly and say thank you so much for all the amazing messages of congratulations. I'm not very good at holing my water, and oh my god, it was hard to keep that a secret for so long.
"But yeah I am really excited. I've had a bit of a stressful day so excuse the face, but I am really buzzing to share all this experience with you."
The reality television star went on to say: "And if there are any mums-to-be out there, or any mums in general, please share your tips and tricks, we are in this together.
"I am just really happy that you guys are excited and it's been a little bit difficult so far."
Gary Lucy has broken his silence after ex Laura announced that she was expecting their first child together.
Shortly after the Laura's announcement, it emerged that she had reportedly split from Gary, shortly after their first scan.
Their romance started after meeting on Celebs Go Dating. Gary, who already has four children to a previous relationship, commented on Laura's pregnancy announcement post.
He penned: "There she is [love heart emoji], So very proud of you Mummy Bear. Cooking Baby Bear perfectly." According to reports, Laura and Gary called off their relationship after going through a "difficult time".
