Domingo Garcia, chairman of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), has expressed optimism about the growing support for the Harris-Walz campaign among Latinos, particularly those who have historically been low-propensity voters.
Garcia mentioned that while the campaign initially had a slow start, it is now gaining momentum. He highlighted the increasing enthusiasm among Latinos and the hope that Kamala Harris, as the daughter of immigrants, could inspire greater voter turnout among this demographic.
With approximately 65 million Latinos residing in the United States, Garcia emphasized the significant presence of this community in key battleground states. He believes that Latinos have the potential to be a decisive factor in the upcoming election.
Garcia pointed out that cities like San Antonio, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Chicago, which have substantial Latino populations, could play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the presidential race. He expressed confidence that Latinos can make a meaningful impact on the path to the White House this year.
