Latest Tennis odds as the Australian Open approaches finals weekend

We are just days away from finding out who will be our first Grand Slam champions this weekend.

The Australian Open is set to come to a close and it has not come without its drama both on and off the court.

With no Novak Djokovic after his deportation from Australia and Naomi Osaka losing to American Amanda Anisimova it means we will have new singles champions this year.

The semi-finals will take place on Friday with bookies favourite Daniil Medvedev playing Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas while Rafael Nadal will be looking for his first Australian Open title since 2009.

Medvedev is the favourite at 19/20 with Grosvenor Sport while Spaniard Nadal is 13/5.

Meanwhile, Queensland-born Ashleigh Barty will be looking to live up to the billing as the favourite in the women's competition and bring in a home victory for the first time since 1978.

She faces American Madison Keys while Iga Swiatek faces Danielle Collins in the other semi-final.
