AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:
* There have been 55,889,039 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Tuesday, including 84,364 recorded in the previous 24 hours.
* Of that total, 35,308,494 have been administered by Commonwealth facilities, an increase of 66,372 in the previous 24 hours.
* State and territory facilities have administered 20,580,545 vaccines, an increase of 17,992 in the previous 24 hours.
* 96.69 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 94.97 per cent are double vaccinated.
* A total of 12,588,827 people have received more than two doses - with a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 45,791 in the previous 24 hours.
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* 61,552 new cases: 24,115 in NSW, 10471 in Victoria, 10,476 in Queensland, 8429 in Western Australia, 4594 in South Australia, 1825 in Tasmania, 1314 in the ACT and 328 in the Northern Territory.
* The national death toll is 5789 (+26): NSW 2036 (+5), Victoria 2693 (+11), Queensland 701 (+7), South Australia 240 (+2), ACT 38, NT 32, Tasmania 28 and WA 23 (+1). (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
