Latest snapshot of coronavirus impact

AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There have been 49,664,135 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Monday, including 91,289 recorded in the previous 24 hours.

* Of that total, 30,572,932 have been administered by commonwealth facilities, an increase of 43,718 in the previous 24 hours.

* State and territory facilities have administered 19,091,203 vaccines, an increase of 47,571 in the last 24 hours.

* More than 95 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 93.3 per cent are double vaccinated.

* A total of 7,764,654 adults have received more than two doses - a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 65,520 in the previous 24 hours.

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

Students have returned to school in Victoria, as COVID-19 case numbers remain high. (AAP)

* 33,869 new cases: 13,026 in NSW, 10,053 in Victoria, 7462 in Queensland, 1505 in South Australia, 537 in the ACT, 504 in Tasmania, 760 in the Northern Territory and 22 in Western Australia

* The national death toll is 3760 (+44): NSW 1393 (+27), Victoria 1996 (+ eight), Queensland 199 (+ three), South Australia 117 (+ six), ACT 26, NT two, Tasmania 18 and WA nine. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 374,672,376

* Deaths: at least 5,663,983

* Vaccine doses administered: 9,969,235,009
