AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:
* There have been 55,680,095 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Saturday, including 71,177 recorded in the previous 24 hours.
* Of that total, 35,157,595 have been administered by commonwealth facilities, an increase of 40,682 in the previous 24 hours.
* State and territory facilities have administered 20,522,500 vaccines, an increase of 30,495 in the previous 24 hours.
* About 96.65 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 94.91 per cent are double vaccinated.
* A total of 12,484,446 people have received more than two doses - with a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 28,521 in the previous 24 hours.
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* 40,403 new cases: 16,813 in NSW, 6694 in Victoria, 5707 in Queensland, 5626 in Western Australia, 3168 in South Australia, 1305 in Tasmania, 926 in the ACT and 164 in the Northern Territory.
* The national death toll is 5728 (+7): NSW 2023 (+4), Victoria 2675, Queensland 683, South Australia 234 (+3), ACT 38, NT 31, Tasmania 27 and WA 20. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Cases: at least 469,598,051
* Deaths: at least 6,074,319
* Vaccine doses administered: 10,788,776,886.
