Latest snapshot of coronavirus impact

There were 34,873 new COVID-19 cases across Australia in the latest period, and 30 further deaths. (AAP)

AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There have been 54,934,071 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Thursday, including 92,914 recorded in the previous 24 hours.

* Of that total, 34,622,892 have been administered by commonwealth facilities, an increase of 74,069 in the previous 24 hours.

* State and territory facilities have administered 20,311,179 vaccines, an increase of 18,845 in the previous 24 hours.

* 96.51 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 94.7 per cent are double vaccinated.

* A total of 12,098,500 people have received more than two doses - with a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 56,899 in the previous 24 hours.

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* 34,873 new cases: 14,034 in NSW, 6811 in Victoria, 4327 in Queensland, 5005 in Western Australia, 2503 in South Australia, 1129 in Tasmania, 791 in the ACT and 273 in the Northern Territory.

* The national death toll is 5527 (+30): Victoria 2627 (+10), NSW 1968 (+7), Queensland 622 (+8), South Australia 198 (+1), ACT 37 (+3), NT 31 (+1), Tasmania 26, and WA 11. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 453,419,589

* Deaths: at least 6,029,307

* Vaccine doses administered: 10,651,049,900
