Chelsea are the firm favourites to secure Raheem Sterling's signature as Todd Boehly makes his mark in his first summer transfer window as the new owner of the Blues. The American businessman bought the club from Roman Abramovich and is eager to make his mark in the transfer window starting with Sterling - who is 1/14 to join Chelsea this summer with Betfair.
The Manchester City winger's future at the Etihad Stadium remains in doubt and there has been strong links for the England international to return to London at Stamford Bridge. Sterling, 27, has enjoyed seven seasons at City scoring 131 goals in 339 games in all competitions and picking up four Premier League titles, four EFL Cups, one FA Cup and a Community Shield.
If all goes to plan, Sterling will join up with his new side who were the winning side in the 2021 Champions League where the former Liverpool player was part of the losing side. Under Pep Guardiola, Man City have consistently been tipped as the favourites for Europe's top prize but never lifted the prize.

Chelsea struggled last season in terms of a standout performer in front of goal with attacking midfielder Mason Mount finishing the season as the club's top goalscorer with 11 goals while £90m signing Romelu Lukaku finished with just eight goals a year after scoring an impressive 24 goals for Inter Milan in Serie A. Fortunately, Sterling has not scored fewer than 10 goals in the last five seasons including a career best of 20 goals in England's top tier in 2019/20.
The last time a forward finished with double figures for the Blues was Tammy Abraham who finished with 15 goals in the Premier League back in 2019/20.
