Leeds United supporters will be hoping that Friday night's announcement that 49ers Enterprises have agreed a deal to take over the club will be the starter gun on what will be a very busy summer at Elland Road.
It has been more than two weeks since the Premier League season ended with the Whites relegated back to the Championship and the club are still looking for a new head coach, a replacement for Victor Orta in the director of football position, while the domestic transfer window swings open on Wednesday morning.
It is the head coach position that looks to be the priority at Elland Road, with Leeds grouped together with a number of other manager-less clubs including Celtic and Championship rivals Leicester City when it comes to the pool of candidates linked with the vacancies.
Brendan Rodgers has caught the eye of many Leeds supporters, but it would appear that Celtic are in the driving seat when it comes to the former Liverpool and Leicester boss. The Mail are reporting that Celtic's major shareholder Dermot Desmond will have face-to-face talks with Rodgers in London to discuss the 50-year-old returning to Parkhead, where he won seven major trophies between 2016 and 2019.

This is reflected in the bookies' odds, with bet365 pricing Rodgers up at 8/1 to be the next man up in the Whites dugout. Steven Gerrard, another name who was strongly linked is out to 16/1 after he was linked with Saudi side Al-Ettifaq. Scott Parker, another name mentioned early in the process, is now at 25/1 amid reports that he is now the favourite to land the Leicester job.
This all means that former Norwich boss Daniel Farke remains the bookmakers' favourite for the post at 5/4 (his odds shortening marginally amid reports Leeds are looking at Norwich's outgoing Stuart Webber as their new director of football), with former Whites assistant Carlos Corberan priced at 9/2 for a return to Elland Road.
