Latest Leeds United injury news as three miss Tottenham amid Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo update

Leeds United manager Sam Allardyce has refused to rule Patrick Bamford out of their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Whites host Spurs at Elland Road knowing they have to win to have every chance of securing their top flight status. Leeds are currently 19th in the Premier League table, two points from safety.

They will need results to go their way across the country. Everton and Leicester City are the two other teams facing the drop, with Sean Dyche and Dean Smith's sides taking on Bournemouth and West Ham.

If Leeds are to defeat Spurs, they're more likely to do so with Bamford. The striker is a doubt for the game after being forced off in the defeat at West Ham with a thigh injury after 34 minutes.

After confirming the Englishman was "struggling badly", Allardyce has provided an update. He said: "We'll give Bamford as long as we can. Certainly we're not overwhelmed with striker options."

There is better news with Rodrigo, who trained on Friday ahead of the game. The 32-year-old has scored 13 Premier League goals this season and will be key to Leeds' hopes of staying up ."I'll gamble on anyone's fitness if they want to play, if I think they can make a contribution to help us try to win the game," Allardyce said.

"It's the last game, they will have plenty of time to recover, but there is obviously medical issues where if you play them the risk is too great and a lot of it is up to the player himself." Elsewhere, Leeds will definitely be without three players. Stuart Dallas (thigh), Luis Sinisterra (ankle) and Tyler Adams (thigh) have all been sidelined for some time.
